When 18 year old Wayne Starin broke his neck in a motorcycle accident, his doctor told him he would be facing numerous surgeries, have to live with chronic pain and accept the fact that he would be a semi-invalid for the rest of his life. Needless to say, this was not acceptable.
That’s when Wayne began treatment with a local chiropractor and after six months, was totally pain free and had regained full use of his limbs. He also found his mission in life.
In 1998, after working for two years for an Arlington-based clinic, now Dr. Starin took over a small chiropractic clinic in Flower Mound with a vision to provide relief for those in pain without using drugs or resorting to surgery.
As Clinic Manager of Epic Healthcare & Physical Medicine, Dr. Starin supervises a team of wellness professionals who provide a wide range of holistic and natural healing services, including regenerative medicine, physical rehabilitation, medical mas-sage, spinal decompression, laser therapy, diagnostic testing and allergy testing and treatment.
Because chiropractic saved his life, Dr. Starin is passionate about educating people on natural health care and is dedicated to helping them get well naturally. Over the years, he has taught more than 750 workshops and lectures on a variety of wellness topics for community groups and the employees of such businesses as UPS, Sears, Xerox, City of Lewisville, the Town of Flower Mound and local schools.
He is a distinguished member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, a national association of doctors who donate their time to provide complimentary workshops on health, stress, wellness, ways to increase energy and balancing hormones naturally.
Dr. Starin has written articles for Entrepreneur and Fitness magazines and graduated with honors from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa, the largest and most prestigious chiropractic college in the world.
