You would think that it would be a conflict of interest for a highly-experienced divorce attorney to want to keep marriages together, but not for Steve Bruneman.

While counseling engaged couples regarding prenuptial agreements, Steve realized most people who are getting married have never been taught the fundamentals of be-ing married, and if they want to stay married, there are certain things they need to know, do and understand to keep their relationship healthy, strong and enduring.

After teaching a highly-popular relationship seminar in Dallas, Steve published The Marriage Gamble, which provides eye-opening insights into marriage and preventing divorce. The book provides a roadmap for navigating the potentially-hazardous journey between “I do” and “forever.”

A trial law attorney since 1982, Steve is managing partner of BrunemanLaw, P.C., a full service family law firm specializing in divorce, modifications, child custody, child sup-port, premarital agreements grandparents’ rights and enforcement suits.

Unlike many other family law attorneys, Steve strives to move his clients through the emotional aspect of their cases in order to help them resolve difficult emotional issues and move on with their lives with the least amount of conflict and destruction.

Named a Texas Super Lawyer for six consecutive years by Texas Monthly magazine, Steve is board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization; AV rated by Martindale – Hubbell (the highest peer review ranking), and has served on numerous Dallas Bar Association committees, sections and boards of directors for more than 20 years.

Steve received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
