You would think an expert in dental practice management and insurance reimbursement wouldn’t be interested in repairing mobility and durable medical equipment for seniors and the disabled. But for Paul Saueressig, Managing Partner of Mobility City of North Texas, it’s all about opportunity and mitigating risk.

While still actively involved in Five Lakes Professional Services, a healthcare PPO Management consulting firm he helped found, Paul opened the North Texas office of Mobility City, which provides on-site repair, cleaning and maintenance of wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, lift chairs, hospital beds and other durable medical equipment.

The company’s unique wheelchair preventative maintenance program enables hospitals, rehab facilities, skilled nursing, assisted living communities and airports to keep their equipment in top shape while protecting their patients, residents and guests from falls, injury and infection.

For consumers, Mobility City of North Texas rents and sells wheelchairs, transport chairs, scooters, power chairs, walkers and hospital beds through its Plano showroom, and provides personal on-site sales and service for those who can’t make into their showroom.

Paul’s transition into durable medical equipment came after 21 years of experience working with various healthcare practice management software platforms and digital technologies. In addition to Five Lakes Professional Services, Paul co-founded Med Pro Technologies Dental High Tech Distributorship and Premier Systems Dental Corporation.

He holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Wisconsin and was previously a certified life and health agent, Series 6 & 7.
