A chiropractor’s hands are his livelihood, so when Dr. Matt Gianforte broke his hand, it became impossible for him to care for his own patients. After having exhausted traditional medical procedures, he received an injection of stem cells in his stiff and virtually useless hand, and today, that hand is fully functional.

Having experienced in his own body how stem cells can heal damaged and inflamed tissues, Dr. Gianforte incorporated stem cell therapy into his practice, Shawnee-based LifeWorks Integrative Health, LLC, which he founded in 2005.

In addition to regenerative stem cell therapy, LifeWorks Integrative Health provides a wide range of holistic treatments, including chiropractic care, functional medicine, IV infusion therapy, natural pain management, rehabilitative services and weight loss – all under the same roof.

A specialist in treating trauma patients, Dr. Gianforte believes the body has remarkable healing abilities when the true cause of the dis-ease is identified. When working with patients, his goal is to determine the underlying biomechanical and biochemical abnormalities at the root of the health problem so the patients can feel better quickly and restore their true health naturally over time – without drugs or surgery.

Dr. Gianforte earned his B.A. in Human Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. His postgraduate studies include courses in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, Functional Endocrinology, Mastering the Thyroid and Mastering Brain Chemistry, all from the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences.

Dr. Gianforte is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Academy of Chiropractors.
