After graduating from law school, Jason Brower spent ten years as a litigator with a Houston law firm working exclusively in matters related to estate planning, trust, probate and guardianship law.

He saw first-hand how families – and their finances – can be torn apart after the death of a loved one where there is no will or the will is contested. He saw the same situations come up over and over again, and understood how easily they could have been avoided with the right kind of planning.

Realizing there are no winners in probate, Jason switched gears and, with his wife who is also an estate planning attorney, opened the estate planning firm of Brower & Brower in Houston to help people avoid the turmoil and expense of probate whenever possible.

A Dallas native, Jason longed to move back home and later merged his practice with Houser Law Firm, and became its managing director. The firm specializes in asset protection planning, trust and estate litigation, probate and estate planning, and has offices in Dallas, Colleyville, Rockwall and Houston.

Jason has handled cases all over Texas and has appealed cases in both Federal and State appellate courts up to and including the Supreme Court, and was named a “Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Texas Monthly Magazine from 2011 – 2016.

He is a member of the Disability and Elder Law Lawyers Association, Attorneys in Tax and Probate, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.

Jason earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, 2003 and is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University.
