For Dan Danford, a banker-turned-Certified Financial Planner, there are few things more fulfilling than helping people manage their money. While overseeing customer retirement plans in the trust department of a bank, Dan became an expert at investing and explaining complex financial matters to clients, and turned both talents into a career.

His unique approach to personal finance has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Business Week, U.S. News & World Report and the Kansas City Star for such topics as math anxiety, using debt as leverage and why family finances aren’t about achieving money goals, but rather people goals.
Dan’s industry accomplishments include being named among the 150 Best Advisors for Doctors by Medical Economics Magazine; one of 2012 America’s Top Financial Advisors by Conquest Press; receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award by Missouri Western State University; and named in the Top RIA (Registered Investment Advisor} Survey by Financial Advisor magazine and in the TOP DOG Report, the annual compendium of the top advisory firms by Wealth Manager Magazine.
